Why I Do This
Renting out my home has allowed pursue my love of travel. I’ve stayed in countless Airbnbs over the years. Some were unforgettable for all the right reasons—others, not so much. Experiencing both sides of hospitality showed me what truly makes a great stay: thoughtful touches, smooth communication, and a space that feels cared for. That’s what I bring to every property I manage—because every guest deserves a five-star experience, and every owner deserves peace of mind.
My Story
I graduated from UNT and spent several years working in tech and sales, where I learned the value of great communication, systems, and follow-through. But my real passion has always been travel — I’ve visited over 30 countries and stayed in more Airbnbs than I can count.
That mix of experience is what led me to start Horton Retreats. I know what it feels like to walk into a space that’s been thoughtfully prepared — and I know what it takes behind the scenes to make that happen. Now I help property owners create those kinds of stays, without the stress.
